MOZA R16 Ultra DD Wheel Base – 16 Nm Direct Drive
Experience precise, powerful force feedback with the MOZA R16 Ultra DD Wheel Base. With 16 Nm of torque, a high-resolution 21-bit magnetic encoder, a powerful 600 MHz processor, and MOZA's latest force feedback technology, the R16 Ultra delivers a direct, detailed connection between car and driver.
The newly developed high-density flat-wire motor delivers exceptionally smooth power and minimizes unwanted cogging. At the same time, the 21-bit encoder, with over 2 million positions per revolution, captures every steering movement with extreme precision.
This makes the R16 Ultra suitable for both ambitious sim racers and demanding drivers looking for a powerful Direct Drive wheelbase for iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Le Mans Ultimate, Automobilista 2, EA SPORTS F1, and many other racing simulations.
16 Nm Direct Drive for intense force feedback
With 16 Nm of torque, the MOZA R16 Ultra offers plenty of power for realistic, powerful force feedback. Changes in vehicle balance, loss of grip, curbs, bumps, and other track details are transmitted directly to the steering wheel.
The ample power reserve also lets you run the wheelbase with reduced force feedback while still enjoying an especially dynamic and detailed driving experience.
High-Density Flat-Wire Motor
Inside the R16 Ultra is a modern high-density flat-wire motor. Its design delivers high power density while keeping the unit compact.
The optimized motor design reduces cogging, delivering exceptionally smooth steering. This makes subtle force feedback effects clearly perceptible, even at low steering torque.
21-bit magnetic encoder with over 2 million positions
The MOZA R16 Ultra features a high-resolution 21-bit magnetic encoder with 2,097,152 positions per revolution.
This allows the wheel base to accurately detect even the smallest steering movements. The result is immediate control and detailed reproduction of the vehicle's force feedback signals.
600 MHz processor for fast FFB processing
A powerful 600 MHz processor handles the processing of force feedback data. Combined with MOZA's latest force feedback technology, it processes signals from the simulation quickly and delivers them precisely to the motor.
This makes it possible to distinguish changes in grip, weight transfer, curbs, bumps and vehicle responses.
Integrated RGB lighting
Two integrated RGB light strips with 16.7 million colors give the R16 Ultra a modern look and can also visualize telemetry data and status information.
For example, the lighting can respond to racing situations and vehicle conditions, making it a functional part of the SimRacing setup.
Compact aluminum housing
Despite its high performance, the R16 Ultra remains relatively compact, with dimensions of just 206 × 140 × 135 mm.
The sturdy CNC-machined aluminum housing offers high rigidity while also helping dissipate heat from the wheel base. This makes it easy to integrate into high-end, space-efficient SimRacing cockpits.
Flexible mounting on the SimRacing rig
The MOZA R16 Ultra supports different mounting options and can be mounted from below, from the front or from the side, depending on the cockpit.
This makes it suitable for a wide range of aluminum profile rigs, wheel decks and front-mount systems.
Part of the MOZA Racing ecosystem
The R16 Ultra integrates fully into the MOZA Racing ecosystem. Compatible pedals, shifters, handbrakes, dashboards and other accessories can be connected via the available ports.
Popular MOZA steering wheels such as the MOZA GS V2P GT Wheel can also be used with the R16 Ultra, making it a particularly compelling combination for GT and endurance racing simulations.
Configure everything conveniently via MOZA Pit House, where you can customize force feedback, steering angle and many other settings, then save them as profiles.
