The Pimax Crystal Super combines extremely high image resolution with premium glass lenses, a wide field of view, and advanced features such as local dimming and Dynamic Foveated Rendering. Depending on the variant, you can choose between different optical engines and fields of view.
Crystal Super 50PPD / 57PPD
With 3840 × 3840 pixels per eye, the Crystal Super delivers an exceptionally sharp image. The aspheric glass lenses offer a large sweet spot and ensure clear visuals.
Two variants are available, depending on the optical engine you choose:
- 57 PPD with 106° HFOV
- 50 PPD with 127° HFOV
- Up to 138° HFOV in Labs Mode
An optional Optical Engine offers exceptional clarity. For smooth visuals, the Crystal Super supports 72 Hz and 90 Hz refresh rates.
Automatic IPD adjustment and local dimming
The IPD can be automatically adjusted between 58 and 72 mm. This makes personalized setup easier and allows for precise adjustment to your interpupillary distance.
Local dimming delivers vivid, true-to-life colors and improves contrast.
Foveated rendering and tracking
Dynamic Foveated Rendering 2.0 can optimize the image specifically for the relevant viewing area.
The package includes two controllers. Setup is straightforward with inside-out tracking. If you prefer an even more precise tracking solution, you can expand the system with Lighthouse tracking.
Audio
A replaceable 3.5 mm audio jack is available for connecting headphones. The headset also features two microphones.
Pimax Crystal Super Ultrawide
The Crystal Super Ultrawide also features 3840 × 3840 pixels per eye and high-quality aspherical glass lenses with a large sweet spot. Its standout feature, however, is the ultrawide 140° HFOV.
This variant also offers 72 and 90 Hz, automatic IPD adjustment from 58–72 mm, local dimming, and Dynamic Foveated Rendering 2.0.
